What an installation KIT consists
- Wax paper — protects the adhesive part
- Letter with adhesive
- Template — for easy installation and ensures proper layout of the sign
- Transfer foil — holds the sign together, ensures easy installation, protects the sign from damage
The surface to which we will apply the sign must be properly prepared to ensure proper adhesion. Ideally, it should be degreased to ensure that the adhesive layer sticks as well as possible to the surface. The most suitable temperature for sticking is between 20-25°C.
Choose a suitable position for placing the sign. Make a line along the top edge of the sign, to which you can attach the sign with the template.
Remove the entire label with the installation kit in one piece; if it is divided into multiple parts, then remove all of them. Begin installing the sign from the left side.
From the installation kit, tear off a strip of wax paper. Align the top edge of the template with the line you have already prepared and stick it to the substrate. Verify that the sign is in the correct position. You can adjust the position if necessary.
If everything is alright, peel off the wax paper under each letter of the label. Make sure that all the letters are adhered; you can press them to the surface. Subsequently, you can remove the transfer foil and the template. Finally, make sure that all the letters are correctly affixed.
Maximum adhesion of the sign will be achieved after 24 hours.
